Akshmala – Shipping Policy

At Akshmala, we aim to ensure that your sacred and energised products reach you safely, securely, and on time. This policy outlines our shipping process, timelines, charges, and important conditions.

1. Order Processing Time

  • All orders are processed within 1–2 working days after confirmation.
  • Orders placed on weekends or public holidays are processed on the next working day.
  • Customised, energised, or consecrated products may require additional processing time, which will be communicated at the time of order.

2. Domestic Shipping (Within India)

Shipping Options Available

  • Standard Shipping: Estimated delivery within 4–7 working days.
  • Express Shipping (where available): Estimated delivery within 2–4 working days. Additional charges apply.
  • Self-Pickup (if applicable): Available for select locations. Customers will be notified once the order is ready.
Delivery timelines are indicative and may vary depending on location, courier partner operations, weather conditions, or unforeseen circumstances.

3. Cash on Delivery (COD)

  • COD is available for select pin codes in India.
  • A COD convenience fee may apply and will be displayed at checkout.
  • All COD orders may be verified via phone call or WhatsApp before dispatch.
  • Failure to confirm within the verification window may result in automatic cancellation.
  • COD charges are non-refundable in case of returns or cancellations.

4. Shipping Charges

  • Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on delivery location, shipping method, and order value.
  • Promotional offers such as free shipping may be applied at Akshmala’s discretion.

5. Order Tracking

  • Once dispatched, a tracking link is shared via SMS, email, or WhatsApp.
  • Tracking details may take up to 24 hours to update after dispatch.

6. Delays in Delivery

  • Courier or logistics partner delays
  • Weather conditions, strikes, or natural calamities
  • Government restrictions or unforeseen operational issues
Akshmala is not liable for delays beyond its control, but our support team will assist in tracking and resolving delivery concerns.

7. Incorrect or Incomplete Address

  • Customers must provide accurate and complete shipping details.
  • Akshmala is not responsible for delays or non-delivery due to incorrect information.
  • Orders returned due to address issues may incur re-shipping charges.

8. Non-Delivery / Return to Origin (RTO)

Possible Reasons

  • Customer unavailable at delivery
  • Incorrect address
  • Refusal to accept delivery
  • Non-confirmation of COD order

RTO Policy

  • Prepaid Orders: Refund processed after deducting forward and return shipping charges.
  • COD Orders: May not be re-shipped unless converted to prepaid.
  • Repeated RTOs may result in COD being disabled for future orders.

9. Damaged or Tampered Packages

  • Do not accept visibly damaged or tampered packages.
  • Inform the delivery agent immediately.
  • Contact Akshmala support within 24 hours with images or video evidence.

11. Shipping for Exchanges, Returns & Warranty Repairs

  • Governed by the Exchange, Return, Refund & Lifetime Warranty Policy.
  • Customers may choose Akshmala reverse pickup (paid) or self-shipping.

12. Force Majeure

  • Akshmala is not responsible for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, government actions, or courier disruptions.
