Akshmala – Exchange, Return, Refund & Lifetime Warranty Policy

At Akshmala, our purpose is not only to deliver sacred, energised products, but also complete peace of mind. Our policies are designed to be transparent, fair, and respectful of the deeply personal nature of spiritual products.

1. Eligibility Window

  • Exchange, Return, or Refund requests must be raised within 7 days of successful delivery.
  • Requests raised after this period may not be accepted.

2. Exchange Policy

Products Eligible for Exchange

  • Size or fitting issues (bracelets or malas)
  • Product received in damaged condition
  • Incorrect product delivered
  • Manufacturing defects
  • Bead or thread-related issues reported within the eligibility window

Exchange Options Available

  • Size exchange
  • Exchange with another product of equal value
  • Upgrade to a higher-value product by paying the difference
  • Store credit or coupon (valid for 1 month)

Exchange Shipping Charges

  • Self-shipping: Customer sends product; ₹79 charged for re-shipping
  • Akshmala reverse pickup: ₹199 for pickup and re-delivery
  • Free exchange in cases of damage or incorrect product delivered by Akshmala
Lifetime Support Benefit: Even after the exchange window expires, support is available for string breakage. Customers only bear applicable logistics charges.

3. Return Policy

Returns Accepted Only In These Cases

  • Authenticity issues verified by a government-approved gemological institute

Returns Not Accepted For

  • Change of mind or personal preference
  • Energetic dissatisfaction
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Products that have been used, worn, or altered
  • Fully customised or consecrated products (unless damaged or incorrect)

Return Shipping Charges

  • Self-shipping: Customer sends product
  • Akshmala reverse pickup: Free

Refund Options

  • Refund to the original payment method
  • Store credit or coupon (faster processing, no deductions)

Refund Timelines

  • Refunds initiated within 7–10 working days after verification
  • Store credit issued within 48 hours of approval
No deductions are made when the issue is due to an error from Akshmala.

5. Shipping & Cancellation

  • Standard and express delivery options available
  • Prepaid orders may be cancelled before dispatch
  • Orders cannot be cancelled after dispatch
  • An additional ₹60 is charged for all Cash on Delivery (COD) orders.

6. Lifetime Warranty on Thread Bracelets

What the Warranty Covers

  • Thread breakage
  • Re-threading requirements
  • Loosening of beads due to normal wear

Repair Options

  • Self-shipping: Customer sends product; ₹79 charged for re-shipping
  • Akshmala reverse pickup: ₹199 for pickup and re-delivery
Warranty applies only to original Akshmala elastic thread bracelets and excludes misuse, tampering, bead loss, or third-party modifications.
